Prices are shown clearly so you know what to expect. The right appointment depends on whether your dog is new to the clinic, continuing a rehabilitation plan or coming in for a focused review or proactive health check.
Initial assessment and consultation
A careful first appointment to understand your dog, establish clear findings and begin an individual plan.

Physiotherapy & More follow-up appointment
A full treatment and rehabilitation appointment shaped around your dog’s response, current goals and progress.
- Progress review and focused reassessment
- Stance and weight-distribution readings where useful
- Hands-on physiotherapy treatment
- Rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise
- Class IV laser or other treatment when clinically indicated
- Updates to the home-exercise plan
Class IV laser therapy session
A focused laser-only appointment for dogs attending on a specific veterinary referral, or when additional laser sessions are recommended alongside physiotherapy.
- Companion Animal Health Class IV laser therapy
- A typical loading course may involve twice-weekly sessions for around three weeks
- Frequency is tailored to the condition and your dog’s response
- Laser is included in a Physiotherapy & More follow-up when used as part of that appointment
Exercise review and mini assessment
A shorter, focused appointment for existing clients to check progress, review technique and adapt exercises as their dog’s needs change.

Annual Physiotherapy MOT
A comprehensive physical-health check for owners who want to understand and monitor their dog’s movement, comfort, strength and general physical function.

Using your policy for physiotherapy
Some policies cover veterinary physiotherapy under physiotherapy, rehabilitation or complementary-treatment benefits. Cover varies between insurers and individual policies, so it is important to check before treatment.
Pay and reclaim
A straightforward way to use your policy while keeping you in control of the claim.
- Confirm your cover with your insurer.
- Pay The Dog Physio at the appointment.
- Receive the appropriate invoice or receipt.
- Submit and manage your own claim.
- Your insurer may contact me if further clinical information is needed.
Direct insurance claims
Direct claims may be considered case by case where the policy and insurer allow them, once the required information and authorisation have been supplied.
- £25 administration fee for each direct-claim submission.
- Each direct claim may include no more than six treatment sessions.
- You remain responsible for any excess, co-payment, excluded treatment, policy-limit shortfall and unpaid or rejected amount.
